Wicked Healthy Dehydrated Dog Treats - the Dehydrator Virgin!

Updated: May 6, 2021

I gave myself, and my fur babies, a special treat today - I have fallen in love with the idea of making my own healthy dog treats, especially for poor Cebar, who has had to change his diet drastically due to his pancreatitis. I have invested in a food dehydrator and a vacuums sealer machine! I stumbled across https://www.wiggleworthy.com and it has totally changed my outlook on dog nutrition.

I have just finished a little Vlog on it to let you share in my excitement - so be sure to check that out!

I did some research (as is my nature) and finally settled on the Biochef Arizona Sol Dehyrator $199.95

and the Sunbeam FoodSaver Lock and Seal for $97.30

I want to be clear that I am in no way affiliated or receive any financial or goods endorsements with any of the products I have been recommending in my Blogs/Vlogs, they are simply that ones I have chosen that I think will best fit my needs - so just take from my recommendations what you will.

I think I will get a lot of personal use out of these new investments in my kitchen, and who knows if it all goes well I may even include some of my specialties as give-a-ways or value adds for my West Coast Woofer clients.

I’ve never done anything like this before, but I am really excited and enthusiastic about it! I only want the best for Cebar and Whisky and I don’t mind putting in the time to cook for them.

Stay tuned to see how things turn out - its a learning curve, but drinking bubbles always helps!!!!

PS. in the Vlog I mentioned that people have been asking what I mean about "Doggie " peanut butter in my Vlog about Lickimats. There is a chemical in most peanut butters you want to avoid as it is highly toxic to Dogs, that's what I mean by Doggie Peanut Butter - choose one without the chemical called Xylitol
