A WEE BIT ABOUT WEST COAST WOOFERS & ME
"GOOD GIRL, GOOD BOY"......You've sniffed out and tracked down West Coast Woofers - the most fun you and your Fur Baby can have in creating precious memories and beautiful works of Art, where your gorgeous Fur Baby is the STAR!
I’m Karen (Aunty Karen to your Fur Baby) an AIPP Accredited Professional Photographer, and the acclaimed CEO - Creative Excitement Organiser and dog whisper - of West Coast Woofers - a luxury boutique pet photography studio North of the River, in Perth, Western Australia.
I'll let you in on a little secret - I like most dogs better than some people, and I love nothing more than a fur-fix snuggled up with my own Fur Babies, Cebar (a 9 year old English Cocker X ) and Whisky (my little French Bulldog pup).
I have been a Fur Baby pawrent since I was 11 yrs old, and have had the privilege of loving, and being loved by, many dogs over my lifetime. I have experience in obedience training, including taking two dogs through obedience trials to Companion Dog titles. So if you are a bit worried about how your Fur Baby will “behave” during our photography session, there’s absolutely no need. I have lots of experience in handling dogs, and oodles of tips and tricks to get their attention - even just for a split second to capture those amazing shots! I started off as a Newborn and Maternity Photographer, so I have the patience of a saint and I assure you that your dog just needs to do what dogs do naturally, and leave the rest to me!
Expect first class service from the very start, because it’s not just about the photos at the end (although you are absolutely going to fall in love with those!) - the whole experience in working with West Coast Woofers is what I pride my business on. I always make sure you and your Fur Baby are totally safe, comfortable and having fun, whilst I capture the individuality and uniqueness of your little super star!
Your journey starts with a design appointment, where we get to meet each other (fur baby included) and work out the kind of the images your heart wants and how you might like to display them in your home afterwards.
And so the adventure begins…..
